deficient in L-fucose, constituent of pectic and hemicellulosic cell wall polysaccharides; root growth rate reduced, decreased length of petioles, rounded leaves, decreased internode length, reduced height, reduced apical dominance, slight decrease in flower size; decreased strength of primary cell wall; same as fucose synthesis.
